Cheyenne worked as a behavioral aid for a management consulting firm. Although the firm promised to pay her the money she earned, she was never paid.

After Hurricane Irma, Anna’s house was all but falling apart. With the help of one of our volunteer attorneys, Colby Nixon, Anna avoided $3,425 in costs.

At the annual Beer Tasting event on June 14th, Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and Atlanta Legal Aid raised over $80,000 for pro bono legal services for Atlanta families in need.
When JoAnn came into the Safe Families Office, she was exhausted from trying to co-parent with her child’s father, who often turned to violence when they disagreed about parenting or finances.
