Ayanna Jones

Senior Litigation Counsel, Safe & Stable Homes Project

Ayanna is currently focused on assisting families that were relocated from Forest Cove as we support them during their displacement. Her duties also entail assisting tenants with systemic and specific issues that we have prioritized such as illegal evictions, and counterclaims that involve failure to repair.

Ayanna runs the hybrid eviction clinic/externship with John Marshall Law School. Finally, she is working on comprehensive training modules to support our wonderful volunteer attorneys. Additionally, she represents tenants that are facing eviction based on specific issues such as illegal self help, repair issues that are within the whole complex, or issues that have systemic impact.

Ayanna received B.A. from Clark Atlanta University, J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Currently, she serves on the Board of Public Interest Law Section of Atlanta Bar Association, Shriver Racial Justice Institute Fellow. Ayanna loves all things sci-fi and sci-fi adjacent.
