Representing Survivors of Intimate Partner Abuse in Civil Temporary Protective Order Hearings

Please join us for this training on how to represent survivors in their time of need.
Our staff from the Safe & Stable Families Project will equip you with the necessary tools and confidence to provide legal assistance and representation to survivors of intimate partner abuse, dating violence, and stalking in their evidentiary hearings for Twelve Month Protective Order. Topics include dynamics of intimate partner abuse, TPO laws in Georgia, considerations when children are involved, and the mechanics of volunteering with this program.
This training has been approved for 3.5 CLE hours with the State Bar of Georgia.
