Melissa Olive
Social Worker, Standing with Survivors Program
Melissa is the Standing with Survivors Social Worker, where she provides social service assistance to clients in the community. These services mirror the services provided to clients in the Intimate Partner Abuse Program but are mobile. Melissa also conducts outreach events to bring awareness and education of intimate partner abuse to the community.
Melissa was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Melissa graduated from Georgia State University where she received her Bachelor of Social Work. In her spare time, she loves doing DIY projects at home, baking, and spending time with family.
Melissa’s passion involves building community relations and creating unique ways to connect with survivors in an innovative way so that they can get connected with the resources and support they need to build a life of safety and independence as they break away from the cycle of violence.
