AVLF’s partner firm Hunton Andrews Kurth purchased Christmas presents for the families of two AVLF clients.

For families who have few resources to spare, the holidays can be especially tough. To bring some joy to the homes of two of our Safe and Stable Famlies clients, Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Staff Community Service Committee provided Christmas gifts to two Atlanta families this year.

“You don’t know how much stress and worry you took away from me and my kids,” said one of the clients.

Rie Steinbrenner and Janis Fraser served as the head elves. Using monetary donations from staff and attorney, Steinbrenner and Fraser went shopping for gifts for the whole family.

“You don’t know how much stress and worry you took away from me and my kids,” said one of the clients. “I will always be grateful for everything you had done for me and my family. “

The kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s staff are greatly appreciated, and will leave a lasting impression on these Safe and Stable Families clients for years to come.

This holiday season, the SWON Program also hosted its first-ever toy and clothing drive.
