Our Standing with Our Neighbors Staff Attorney Pierce Hand recently joined the Gate City Bar Association Inaugural 2021 L.E.A.D. Class.

L.E.A.D. is a leadership institute designed to equip and Empower lawyers with tools to Advance and Develop their leadership in the bar and the community. After an extensive application review and selection process, 15 attorneys were chosen to participate in the Inaugural 2021 L.E.A.D. Class. Pierce Hand being included. 

Pierce is an Atlanta native who is passionate about tackling serious issues that affect low-income communities in Atlanta, including housing instability and educational inequity. A former educator and a dedicated advocate for Atlanta tenants, Pierce currently works as a Staff Attorney for our Standing with Our Neighbors program – a place-based initiative that provides low-income tenants with free legal advocacy in times of greatest need.
