Sarah joined AVLF in 2025 as the organization’s Digital Communications Coordinator. In her role, she supports the Marketing and Development team through storytelling, content creation, and the execution of strategic marketing initiatives.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from Kansas State University and a Master of Science in Digital Communications and Social Media from the University of West Georgia.
She brings over eight years of experience in the domestic violence field, having served as a shelter advocate and community engagement coordinator at local domestic violence shelters, as well as the Communications Manager for the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Sarah’s passion for advocacy and storytelling drives her commitment to amplifying the voices and impact of survivors and the communities that support them.
