Nikki is a Senior Community Advocate with AVLF’s Standing with Our Neighbors program, serving the NPU-V community and working primarily out of Dunbar Elementary School and Barack and Michelle Obama Academy. In this role, she connects families to critical resources, fosters strong community partnerships, and works to help children and families achieve greater stability and opportunity. Her passion for service was sparked through her work in educational settings, where she witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact of support and advocacy for children and families.
An “army brat” by upbringing, Nikki was born in Germany and moved to Atlanta in 1997. She earned a B.A. in Administrative Management from Clayton State University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at Georgia State University. Outside of work and school, Nikki enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
