Melissa Moody has been with AVLF since September 2018, currently holding the position of Program Data and Evaluation Manager. She serves as the database administrator and provides reporting and program metrics for internal processes as well as external and public-facing needs. She maintains data documentation for all AVLF programs and performs daily data hygiene tasks and maintenance. She earned a master’s degree with an emphasis on program evaluation in 2025.
Melissa has a strong background in data management, having worked in both staff and consultant roles for many different local and international nonprofit organizations. In her previous employment, she led an initiative to build a social enterprise for women in Lebanon and taught courses for women and girls in Guatemala and Uganda. Melissa is passionate about women’s issues and continues to volunteer for organizations in that space.
In her private life, Melissa lives on a small homestead where she gardens, raises chickens, and forages for edible and medicinal plants.
