PurSHOEing Justice Event Uplifts Survivors of Intimate Partner Abuse
ASHLEIGH STARNES | March 5th, 2019
The annual PurSHOEing Justice event, now in its sixth year, raises crucial funding for AVLF’s Safe and Stable Families Project.
On February 27th, over 300 guests joined AVLF at King & Spalding for a night of fundraising for the Safe and Stable Families Project.
The event included both live and silent auctions, as well as pop-up shops from local designers and boutiques. Dior also provided free makeovers to guests.

This year’s was presented by Xact Data Discovery, and hosted at King & Spalding’s newly-renovated space.
Guests watched a video about the services and impacts of AVLF’s Safe and Stable Families Project (see above). We also had the honor of hearing the story of a Safe Families Office client, who shared how the Safe Families team fought tirelessly to ensure her safety and stability.
Your generosity has provided crucial support for survivors of intimate partner abuse.
For the fourth year in a row, we would like to extend an extra special thank you to our dear friends Gerard Monte and Hector Rosano of Coast2Coast Catering, Events, & Florals. Gerard and Hector generously donated décor, florals, and discounted catering to the event, as well as three five-course in-home chef dinner parties to our live auction this year. We’re so grateful for their commitment to our work.
AVLF is grateful to each of our sponsors, and to all who attended this event. Your generosity has provided crucial support for survivors of intimate partner abuse. Thank you for standing with us!
