On the Move – AVLF Staff Updates

AVLF | May 24th, 2022

We recently made some position changes for these 4 team members.

Lauren Washington
Promoted to Senior Staff Attorney, Standing with Our Neighbors NPU-V
Lauren was previously a staff attorney with AVLF’s Standing With Our Neighbors program. She is based in the neighborhoods of NPU-V and works primarily in Gideon’s Elementary School, Dunbar Elementary, and Barack and Michelle Obama Academy.

Terri Valentine
Promoted to Office Manager
Terri was previously the Programs Assistant. Working at an inner city elementary school in the city of Atlanta opened her eyes to seeing the everyday struggles of the children and parents and inspired her to help in other ways. That was the reason she joined AVLF, and she’s honored to work for an organization that gives a voice to the voiceless.

Crystal Redd
Promoted to Managing Attorney, Eviction Defense Programs
Crystal Redd was previously a Staff Attorney.  She works across the Safe and Stable Homes Project, providing individual representation in landlord-tenant, eviction defense, and wage cases, supporting the work of the SWON community-based sites, and consulting volunteer attorneys on legal matters.

Kelsie Matthews
Joins the Standing with Our Neighbors NPU-V team
Kelsie was previously on the Community Assistance team.
