Join AVLF’s Safe & Stable Families Project for a training that will give you the tools and confidence to provide legal assistance to survivors of intimate partner abuse, dating violence and stalking. During this training, we’ll discuss:

  • Dynamics of intimate partner abuse, dating violence, and stalking, as well as practice tips for working with these populations
  • Temporary Protective Order law in Georgia
  • Representing clients in 12-Month Protective Order evidentiary hearings, including prep and strategy
  • Mechanics of volunteering with our program

This training has been approved for 3.5 CLE hours with the State Bar of Georgia.
