Our staff from the Safe & Stable Families Project will equip you with the necessary tools and confidence to provide legal assistance and representation to survivors of intimate partner abuse and stalking in 12-Month Protective Order hearings. This training will include the dynamics of intimate partner abuse, TPO laws in Georgia, considerations when children are involved, and the mechanics of volunteering with this program. They will also discuss changes to hearings in response to the pandemic, and prepare you for virtual representation.
