Finance Manager

Karen maintains accurate financial records and provide the organization’s management team with timely and accurate information. She also manages and maintains budgets, deposits, disbursements, and grant reporting inquiries from staff. Maintain monthly/quarterly reconciliations of all balance sheet and income statement accounts based on the closing schedule.

Karen graduated with a degree in Business Management and Accounting from Baker Business College. She has over 10 years of accounting experience working for several non-profits, including the Housing Development Corporation, Metropolitan Baptist Church, and Hasselbring Senior Center.

One personal fact about Karen is she had the opportunity to return to my country of origin while serving as an International Project Manager for Payless ShoeSource. The opening of the first five retail stores on the island was her responsibility.
