More than 700 friends of Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and Atlanta Legal Aid Society attended the June 11 event at Opera, raising over $75,000 to support equal access to justice in our community.

The Pig and the Pearl, Smokebelly BBQ, Jim ‘n Nicks Bar-B-Q, Sweet Auburn Barbecue, and Twin Smokers BBQ dueled it out in a competitive BBQ battle, with Sweet Auburn as the victor. Attendees enjoyed local and craft beers courtesy of United Distributors and delicious side dishes and desserts from Carole Parks Catering.
