Federal agencies have cut more than $1.8 million in annual grants that supported AVLF’s domestic violence and eviction-prevention work, forcing staff reductions and threatening critical safety-net services for Atlanta families. As demand for help continues to rise, AVLF and other legal aid organizations are relying more than ever on community support to keep survivors safe and housed.
