Guardian ad Litem Training

Learn the fundamentals necessary to become a volunteer Guardian ad Litem with AVLF.
Over the course of the training, you’ll learn what it means to act as an officer of the court advocating for the best interests of children in high-conflict custody disputes. Topics taught by seasoned attorneys, psychologists, and other experts include custody & visitation law in Georgia, child development and the psychological impact of custody decisions, cultural humility, writing reports, and preparing for cross-examination, among others.
