(June 21, 2024) The AVLF Safe and Stable Homes team had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented attorneys and summer associates at Eversheds Sutherland. As they gear up for their sponsor date in the June Saturday Lawyer Program, our team provided comprehensive training to ensure they are well-prepared to offer critical legal support to those who need it most.

The AVLF Saturday Lawyer Program is a cornerstone of our mission to provide free, high-quality legal assistance to low-income Atlantans. This program is a lifeline for individuals facing landlord-tenant disputes and other pressing legal issues. Through one-on-one meetings, volunteer attorneys gain a deep understanding of potential clients’ concerns, allowing us to tailor our support and connect them with the resources they need for a positive resolution.
