On November 2nd, AVLF held its annual Wine Tasting at Mercedes Benz Stadium presented by Southern Company, and what a time it was! Almost 1100 guests were greeted by the South Atlanta High School “Marching Hornets” Drumline. This was the largest attendance to date in the history of the event.

“The Winetasting is the culmination of our fundraising efforts, and I celebrate our donors who make a difference while enjoying some great wine and food.”

Libations were flowing once inside the Delta Club thanks to the generosity of Republic National Distributors, and Freddie the Falcon and his antics had guests laughing. 

Guests were invited to taste spirits on the field-level terraces thanks to the generous support of Eversheds Sutherland and King & Spalding. The tequila and bourbon lounges were a great spot to catch up and view the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders evening practice. Earlier in the evening, Epiq sponsored the President’s Reception where top donors and VIPs were treated to select wines.

The Winetasting is held to recognize the law firm, corporate, foundation and individuals donors who help raise annual funds for the organization. In 2023, those supporters have contributed almost $1.3 million in total.
