The Probate Information Center (PIC) is a project of Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Atlanta Legal Aid Society, the Fulton County Probate Court and the Estate Planning & Probate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association.

Who Can Participate?

AVLF is always seeking more licensed volunteer attorneys with at least three years of probate experience.

What?

At the Fulton County Courthouse, volunteer attorneys working with AVLF provide free 30-minute appointments counseling individuals with questions about active probate matters where the deceased person lived in Fulton County. Common areas of consultation include the probate of simple wills, the administration of estates, and poverty affidavits. Appointments are held every other Monday from 12:30 – 4:30 PM at the Fulton County Probate Court Clerk’s office located on the second floor at 136 Pryor Street, SW.

How?

If you have always wanted a corner office at the courthouse – a couple of Mondays a year – complete a Volunteer Registration Form and/or contact Michael Lucas.
