Learn the fundamentals necessary to advocate for the best interests of children in high-conflict custody disputes by becoming a volunteer Guardian ad Litem (GAL) with AVLF.

Over the course of the training, you’ll learn what it means to act as an officer of the court advocating for the best interest of children in high-conflict custody disputes.
Topics taught by seasoned attorneys, psychologists, and other experts include custody & visitation law in Georgia, child development and the psychological impact of custody decisions, cultural humility, writing reports, and preparing for cross-examination, among others.
This training has been approved for 14 hours of CLE credits through the State Bar of Georgia, including one ethics hour and one trial hour.
