ABOUT THE EVENT

Atlanta’s low-income tenants are disproportionately likely to suffer from asthma and other respiratory illnesses, often due to mold and other poor housing conditions.

On #WorldAsthmaDay, AVLF will bring awareness to this important issue by bringing together local health care providers, health plans, and other agencies invested in our community’s wellness! More than just a chance for vendors to connect and share information, this event will be FUN for families – featuring DJ Willy Wow, face painting, games, raffles (we’re giving away dehumidifiers!), popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, and hot dogs!

The Asthma Fair will take place on May 7, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Dunbar Recreation Center, 477 Windsor St SW, Atlanta 30312. Please join us!’
