October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. During this month, we take time to remember, honor and mourn victims who have paid the ultimate price: losing their lives at the hands of their abuser.

Join prevention advocates as we light a candle for each of our Georgia neighbors who have been a casualty of domestic violence during the past year. The vigil will also include courageous testimonies from survivors.

This event is hosted by Partnership Against Domestic Violence, in collaboration with Ahimsa House, Atlanta Judicial Circuit – Office of the District Attorney, Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network, International Women’s House, Raksha, Inc., Securus House, Tapestri, The Mary Gay House, and AVLF’s Safe and Stable Families project.

This event is free and open to the public.
