Program Manager, Standing with Survivors Program
Mary manages the Safe & Stable Families Project’s Social Work & Advocacy Program, which provides various resources and supports to help survivors of intimate partner abuse gain greater safety and stability. She also works directly with clients as part of the Social Work & Advocacy team, assisting clients in addressing concerns around housing, shelter, healthcare needs, counseling, emotional support, access to benefits, financial planning & assistance, and more.
Before joining AVLF, Mary graduated with a Master’s in Social Work and Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. She recently served in leadership in the Fulton County Family Violence Task Force and has previously worked in violence prevention education, research, and advocacy. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker and is committed to working against intimate partner abuse and supporting survivors. In her spare time, Mary enjoys baking pies and playing music.
