Christen Ansuini
Managing Attorney, Safe Families Office
Christen assists survivors of intimate partner violence, elder abuse, and child abuse in a myriad of ways, including: preparing Temporary Protective Order (TPO) paperwork; educating clients, volunteer attorneys, and the public on TPO procedures in Fulton County; referring clients to victims’ assistance programs; providing legal representation for TPO-related court hearings; and referring clients to community resources – such as emergency housing/shelter, support groups, mental health, and other services.
Christen earned her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law where she was elected Class President. Prior to law school, she received her M.Ed., magna cum laude, in Community Development Action from Vanderbilt University. Christen graduated from the University of Maryland, summa cum laude, where she earned a B.A. in Criminology and Psychology. She held the highest GPA in her class and received the Peter P. Lejins Award for Academic Excellence.
Christen hopes she lives long enough to see the Buffalo Bills win a Superbowl (which is why she’s trying to exercise, eat well, and live a very long time).
