If the person who is causing you harm lives in Fulton County and you are looking for a temporary protective order (TPO) to restrict the ability of the person to come near you, please follow the steps below.

If you need assistance with the TPO process, call 404-612-4324. Please leave a voicemail. Messages will be returned. This is not a crisis line.

 

There are two ways to begin the TPO process.
  1. Click here to begin the TPO process online.
  2. You may also start the process in person at the Safe Families Office in the Fulton County Courthouse.

Parking at and around the courthouse can cost up to $20.

When you arrive at the courthouse, take the elevator to the 8th floor, turn left when you exit the elevator, go through the door, and turn right to the Family Division/One Stop window. Tell them you want to file a TPO and they will assist you.
